LOVE Vs LUST

FILM REVIEW Yesterday I went for watching movie named "Nishbad" directed by one of India's finest filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma.Story was unusual older man nearing 6o falls in love with 18 year old girl but this kind of unconventional relationship had explored in west,in films and novels as well.Lolita the famous character was one of that kind.But Ramu is differed as usual in his style and thinking,he did not went for exploring physical desire of older man rather went one step ahead exploring psych of older man ,of his strong feeling but minus sex.Amitabh Bacchan played the role of older man.But the moot question is,is love could happen without lust?Don't it happen with everybody that last destinations of love is lust?Well,here is mythical kind of love exist in old tales like Mirabai who fall in love with Krishana no sex or lust was there.So if ramu tried to say there are few love stories which never meant to understood then he is talking sense but common man who cant think without lust don't able to get.In one scene Vijay(Amitabh Bachhan)said "everything is common except one specific man started to interpret that thing in his distinct style"then that common thing become uncommon.However,ramu falter when he portrayed the girl Jia Khan in only small and open cloths in hills stations where other person were fully clothed.Why?If he tried to explore psych then why that filmy compromise and hypocrisy?Remember Aandhi and few other films like Masoom which explored psych and sensibilities without any hyperbole.Climax of the film or end is also not open or step forward .In end Vijay refuse to accept Jia in flesh and blood but did not forget in heart.Why?Vijay went for his wife and daughter ,why he did not broken with them his relationship for his love Jia?
Maybe Ramu was as clue less as we are how this kind of relationship will end.At the psychic level nothing dies so of vi jay's love who wanted to keep that memory of Jia alive in heart and mind but not in practice.Camera work is excellent,acting too is good of all characters,movies is bit slow but high voltage film with lot of thinking material .Keep it up Ramu..
